There’s something extra special about an April wedding—the way nature starts to come alive again, the crisp light, and the blooms bursting into color. This wedding at Stonegate Glass Chapel was no exception. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass and a canopy of budding trees, the day felt like stepping into a living garden.
But what made it truly magical? The flowers.
Every bloom you see in this stunning arrangement wasn’t ordered from a catalog or flown in from a distant farm—they were lovingly gathered from family gardens. Ranunculus, chamomile, delphinium, roses, and lilacs—each one hand-picked, each one holding sentimental value. There’s something deeply touching about a bride carrying a bouquet grown by the people who raised and loved her. It was more than beautiful—it was personal.
The delicate color palette of peach, buttercream, sky blue, and soft blush wove seamlessly throughout the day. The bride wore a romantic gown from David’s Bridal, while her bridesmaids glowed in dusty hues from JJHouse. Hair and makeup artist Emily Edgar from MEUS Beauty gave the bride a soft, radiant look that perfectly matched the dreamy floral tones and springtime light.
Florist Krista Nisly helped transform the homegrown blooms into elegant arrangements, keeping their natural, gathered-from-the-garden feel intact. The bouquet—pictured above—was just one example of how breathtaking intentional simplicity can be.
Set against the ethereal glass walls of Stonegate, with the forest coming to life just outside, this wedding was an unforgettable blend of meaning, beauty, and blooming new beginnings. It was a joy to capture such a heartfelt day.
